Doylestown, Pa -- Zach Peckman is 16 years old and already making a name for himself in the international jump rope community.

Peckman, who specializes in the speed category, remembers becoming fascinated with jump rope as a small child.

He joined the Zero Gravity Jump Rope Team and practices frequently at the Doylestown YMCA.

Peckman recently took his talents to the 2025 American Jump Rope Federation National Championship in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. There, he set a new U.S. Record in the three minute single rope speed endurance event with a score of 515.

But jumping across the country wasn't enough for the teen from New Hope, Pennsylvania.

Peckman also got the opportunity to represent the United States at the 2025 World Jump Rope Championships. While he did not score first place there, he came home feeling proud of his accomplishments.

In the future, Peckman hopes jump rope will be added as an Olympic sport and that he will become one of its first Olympic competitors.
